I was aimed at a website this morning to check felons in the area. Ok, sure, I'll look that over. I just now got around to doing it, though. The site wasn't as good as local searches, but it wasn't bad. While I was looking for some sort of a key or legend, I noticed two links.
The first was "Stop Medical Adoptions", with a link to a website- that apparently adopts children to people based on how well they match your blood type, marrow type, organ type, etc.
I'm just wondering- the site is disturbing, but is it real? Does anyone know?

I'm just so incrediblly distrubed by the idea that people would adopt a child for the sole purpose of having an organ donor for themselves.
Here's a quote from the site:
"I couldn't get to the top of the donor list because of medical situations I live with, so I went through these guys instead, and in less than a month I had a beautiful, new daughter, and the exact intestines I needed to live out the rest of my life. We're the best of friends now, and she's attending community college here in town."

I'm just absolutely DISGUSTED by the idea!!
