Everyday Lazy

The other day, I posted a picture of Jake (the dog) and Piewacket (the cat) sleeping on our kitchen chairs.  They like being nearby as I'm on the computer.  And as the "grown-up" animals in the family, they don't mind sleeping side-by-side either.  They tolerate each other quite well.  (It's the younger animals - Zeus and Opera - who think that tearing through the house is what they're supposed to do.) 

Whether the chairs are close to the table or not, Pie sleeps as if no one else is around.  Or maybe she just doesn't care.

 

Jake sometimes chooses sleeping on the chairs.  Sometimes he sleeps in the sunlight that's warming the kitchen floor.

Very cute :) Our cats like to sleep on my bed a lot. One of them prefers being under the covers, though.

Oh, to have the life of a well cared for cat or dog!! LOL It is so funny each time I hear my dog let out a sigh...as is it's been such a rough day :o)

I would really feel lonely and isolated if I did not have my dog and cat. My cat is half dog-it drinks from the toilet and comes when I whistle. Now if I could just train it to bring me a Coke from the refrigerator!

Pie is our cat that sometimes acts like a dog. Comes when you call (mostly), walks on a leash and loves most people food scraps.

bunny-rabbit is lazy too...she sleeps from 11am to 3pm, eats a little, and then sleeps again!
