There's not a lot out there, at least not that I've found. I wanted something bright and graphic for my sons' room. So I took matters into my own hands. I made some myself. I googles "modern art for children" and looked at several samples to help create a design. Then I did two paintings with bold, graphic designs and guess what? My sons LOVE them. They were super easy to create (who can't paint lines and squares?) and I was able to customize the colors to my children's tastes. I used four bright colors, two blues, an orange and a yellow. I also plan to make four more with squares of plywood, each painted in one of the four colors. Then I want to attach painted puzzle pieces to the squares and write the words "We All Fit Together" on the squares. My sons' room is very large so they need a lot of color to break up the white. I refuse to paint a 300 sq ft room.
So here they are, what do you think? Keep in mind, I am not an artist, but again, the kids are happy, so I am too.
