Another one of my favorites was Charlie Browns Christmas. I used to watch this growing up with my parents and my brothers and sisters every christmas time. It was one of my all time favorites about the true meaning of christmas. Now I watch this with my kids every year. The movie means a lot to me and my kids. Sort of a good feeling yu get when you can share a memory of yours and a tradition with your own children. :)

My absolute favorite is Christmas Story. I -loved- watching it every year as a child, and now that I have it on DVD, I watch it often.

Another one I watched as a child the first time I saw it my dad took my brother and I to the theater to see it. This was Prancer. I forget how old I was. This too was a great movie. A good one for a little girl with a wild and creative imagination. It meant a lot to me to get to go to the theater ... and ever more for my dad to take me. It was and still is a great movie. I have watched this with my kids too!

Heather the christmas story was a tradition in our house! We watched it several times a year with my dad .. my brothers and sisters. One year my little brother even got it in his head to try to stick his tongue on a pole and see if it would really get stuck .. LMAO .. to his surprise it surely did! HA .. poor kid had a sore on his tongue for weeks!

Great movie .. "you'll shoot your eye out kid" LOL .. oh and the lamp .. the leg lamp .. hahahhahahhaha .. great movie!

I figured I better hurry and post it before someone else does.

I love -all- Christmas movies. A more recent addition to our collection is "It's a Wonderful Life". Before a few years ago, I had never seen it. My aunt bought it for me, made me watch it, then said if I didn't like it, she'd keep it. I -loved- it. It's a great movie!

I don't think I have watched 'its a wonderful life' ... maybe I need to see it!

One for my kids is 'Santa Claus' with Tim Allen. I saw this with my kids .. great movie .. very funny and cute!

As a child I loved "rudolph the red nose reindeer" I think it was the original one because it was the puppets and not the cartoon. I loved this movie because I could relate to poor rudolph! Sad really .. but a great movie. It does try to teach you that even something you think is a flaw .... could really be what makes you unique and special! :)

I think if I had first seen "It's a Wonderful Life" as a child or teen, I wouldn't have appreciated it at all. But, waiting until I was an adult, I loved it. It's old, but it's still very good.

The Santa Clause series is great! I have 1 & 2, but need 3.

Unpacked right now, we have Elf, Christmas Story, Miracle on 34th Street (new version), It's a Wonderful Life, Rudolph, Santa Claus is Coming To Town, The Grinch (live action), and Jack Frost.

Those are the movies that never got packed in with the Christmas decorations this year. I know we have both Santa Clause 1 & 2, Frosty, Once Upon A Christmas, Twice Upon a Christmas, The Polar Express, hmm... I think that might be all that's packed away.

I found the cartoon Grinch who stole Christmas on VHS at Dollar General for $2.50 a few months ago, so that's set aside for Christmas, and I had gotten a Cabbage Patch christmas special on VHS at the same time for $.01 at Dollar General.

Before Christmas, I want to get Christmas with the Kranks, Santa Clause 3, and Disney Christmas Classics. Also, Muppets Christmas Carol, if I can find it.

I always liked that really old (from the 1930's) British movie 'Scrooge'.

When I was a kid they remade it with 'mickey mouse' and called it "mickeys christmas carol" it was awesome1 I great way to give an old classic a whole new life. I loved watching this as a child. I know my kds enjoy watching it now! :)

I loved Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer!

Mickey's Christmas Carol is the BEST! I never got it on tape, though. But, this year, I found a Disney Christmas Classics DVD- it has Mickey's Christmas Carol, and Donald's Christmas Tree, plus one other cartoon on it. I'm saving up to get it! It's only $10!

Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas, 1977 ~ EOJB Christmas was a children's story by Russell Hoban first published in 1969. It was later made into an HBO TV Christmas special by Jim Henson. The plot is reminiscent of The Gift of the Magi, by O. Henry.
The story tells about Emmet Otter and his widowed mother, who each want to buy the other something special for Christmas. They each are aware that the other wants something very particular and, unfortunately, very expensive.

My kids loved this!

We all love National Lampoon's "Christmas Vacation," with Chevy Chase starring as Clark Griswold. It's hilarious!

Frosty the Snowman is another favorite classic.

I have always loved 'The Year Without A Santa Claus'. The Heat Miser & Cold Miser are my favorites. My girls enjoy this movie now too.

I loved Emmett Otter's Jug Band Christmas so much that I bought it for my kids. We also love A Christmas Story and the Polar Express. The Muppet's Christmas is a good one, too. Of course, they're older now and I didn't realize until today that they've not seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation so we'll be watching that one soon.

I love national lampoons christmas too. My dad and I used to watch it on the couch every year and laugh our butts off! Great movie! I have it on video now and still watch it yearly! I love christmas movie's!

I remember the muppets christmas too. I used to love that as a kid. Even the big big christmas one too!!! Great movies!
