Three baby squirrels alone...

Recently there have been some new additions in my backyard. A black squirrel had started bringing along her three babies, one grey and two black. They are absoloutely adorable and each time they come I try to snap some pictures which has not been so easy. Last night, the mother squirrel drowned in the neighbours swimming pool. The three babies are all alone and have continued coming to my yard to eat bird seed, bread and peanuts the way they did with their mom. I will get more pics as they get more comfortable with me and share them with anyone who wants to see.

Poor momma- but if the babies are eating 'real' food, they should be good to go, huh?

I think they will be just fine as long as they avoid cars and cats. I have the only cats nearby so I just have to keep the cats in until the babies are bigger.
