Summertime ~ The Beach in Black & White II

I've gotten in the habit of shooting candid black & white photos of children on the beach during my morning walks. Here are several that didn't make the cut for my gallery, but are still worth seeing.

No edits except for slight cropping on a few & framing on all.

Oh Marianne, these are all wonderful! You have such a talent with the camera. I love B&W and yet the beach is hardly ever the place that people think to use black and white. It's fantastic here and I especially love the 2nd photo of the little boy and the way the water sparkles. Great job!!

HI Marianne, these are absolutely gorgeous pics - and not just for the pics but because beaches in B&W is such an unconventional way to go... you truly have a very creative bent of mind.

The pics here all have something special about them - how do you manage that! - and yet, one, the second one to be specific - just sprang out from the frames at me. The tiny pinpoints of light dancing upon the waves made for a great contrast with the detritus left behind by the waves, presumably. One so clear and sparkling, the other misshapen blots all...!

I remember when I was growing up and color prints first came out..... it was great but now I think I enjoy Black and white prints better. These are great shots. I love how relaxing these make me feel. They would be great prints for a bathroom.
