Oh yeah, Randee! I used to steal them from my older brother (he's 13 years older than I am, so he had really good, older ones.) Now he yells at me about how I destroyed his retirement nest egg because I didn't put them back in their plastic bags when I finished. LMAO

I too was buried in the comics, lol! Mom didn't throw ours out but almost as bad, as with any toys she thought we didn't play with enough anymore, they all got donated to those needy kids, exasperating!!
