A couple that lives in a town nearby me had gone on a fishing trip to Canada taking their 2 year old granddaughter along for the trip. They had planned to stay a week before coming home, but decided after a few days there was not enough to keep the toddler occupied in the rural cabin they were staying in. They returned home early. The next night a rare Canadian tornado tore through the cabin they had been staying in, killing 3 men that had been renting the other half. Had they not had the 2 yr. old along they would have been there that night, and more than likely killed along with the other men. They will be forever grateful for their grandchild now in more ways than one!
