A Hidden Gem On Gather

Two of us in the group Art - Any Medium asked Autumnrose to write an article about Norma Jean Baker/Marilyn Monroe. All three of us share an affection for Marilyn Monroe as an artist and as a person. Autumnrose seems to have a particularly strong affinity with her which is why we asked her if she would write it. She recently published My Candle in the Wind (also in the group All About Film, Movies And Actors) on Gather. It has come to my attention that this is the record of how many people have looked in on it is views: 7 | rating: 10/10 (2 votes) | comments: 2. My first thought was how sad. I really enjoyed her article. It brings out some little known things about Marilyn Monroe. Did you know that she wrote poetry? I didn't.

I notice that this is a regular thing on Autumnrose's articles and I think its again very sad. She may not be as erudite as some of Gather (for that matter neither am I) but I find her writing refreshing. She really puts herself out there when she writes an article. She is honest with her feelings. She is clear about what she wishes to convey. I wish I had her strength of character and bravery in my writing. I would really appreciate it if those of you who read what I write would go by her page (just click on her name above) and read some of what she has written. I am not asking just for her, but mainly for you. I feel I have learned alot from Autumnrose's words. I think the rest of Gather can too. I also think if you start reading what she writes you will see what I see and it will become a must read for all of you. Thank you.
