School starts here August 11th and I've been doing all my shopping. I've gotten some great deals 1 and 5 cents deals at Office Depot and Staples and some other great deals at Walgreens and Walmart(all supplies).
The only problem I'm having is buying my 14 year old shirts, all the shirts are to low for her. We found some in JC Penney but they didn't have the colors she liked but she found one. We're going back to the mall this Saturday and we're going to look in the other department stores and hopefully we'll find some tops that are not to low for her. I went to Cato's today and purchased my 6 year old a pair of jeans and 2 tops for $22, most of her jeans are that amount by themselves, I shopped the clearance rack, which I love, I love sales.
Have anyone else started their childrens school shoppings?

I just got a 50 dollar gift card from Mypoints, and I will be doing back to school shopping for my oldest son once the clearance at JC Penney's hit 70 -75 percent off. I already went shopping in his bin (where I keep all the clothes I get when there is a great deal), and he should have enough for when school starts just as long as the JC Penney sale start by the end of August.
I'm hoping to be able to cash in for another 25 dollar card at Mypoints before that time comes.
Good Luck on shopping for tops for her.
The problem with clothing is that you have to find something they like and stay within the dress code. I'll won't be suprised if there are a lot of challenges on that the first day. The problem is that the parents either don't listen or don't give a rat's arse about it because their kids say "so and so's wearing that." My response (if I had kids)? "You're not so and so and I'm raising you. End of argument."
