Feast upon those pages, child
As if they hold all secrets and lies
Experiment, weep, search and find
Paint with wonder, bathe in wine


Feel within what the spirits sigh
Decorate, embellish, swear, fly
Learn all you can as the hours pass
Sigh deeply or mourn without fear of loss


Time travel, laugh, exploit the world
Steal orchids, fight lions, enjoy your kills
Solve mysteries, love strangers, bloody risk it all
But only until your story's been told.

Oh, Kerrell G., every time I see your comment, I just crack up. (For those who don't get the joke, I was brought up half Roman Catholic/half Episcopalian. Kerrell came up with the divine 'Cathopalian' to describe me.) Clever, clever, clever.
