Sometimes right over the SUN

But the SUN is hard to hide.

Lately we've been getting buckets full of water coming down out of the sky.
Some folks refer to this as rain.
I refer to it as the giver of life.
With this wet substance coming out of the nowhere, which costs me nothing,
my lawn turns green.

And the tulips start to bud.

My neighbor Dogs across the way, look on....calling out to me....
a storm is coming and I need to seek cover.

I look up in the sky and see a plane flying into the Tulsa airport.

I diddle daddle...taking pictures and do some light weeding.... Again the dogs cry out
Telling me that storm clouds are closing in fast...just look to the north

I see them wrapping around to the east as I head
in through the garage to the safety of my house.

Thanks for visiting.

Kathy, I loved the sky shots. I take alot of those as well. The sky is always different and beautiful in any weather.
I couldn't sleep so decided to get this article done up, been meaning to since Thurs nite.
Yes...I just adore a good cloud cover, or at least some interesting clouds moving along...but the other day was a bit too strange, as the storm moved in quickly and I saw it's arrival, which is beautiful of course...but scary when you think of tornados.
Great photos and essay :-)
The sun is shining now, but from the looks of the sky, it won't be for long.
Oh yes we have plenty of weeds Lynn, I'm going to look on line today for a weed killer that isn't bad the environment, if there is such a thing...
Wow I had no idea you all get so little rain Linda...
and Thank you dear friends
Rain is refreshing if one does not have to get out in it.
once you've been around em long enough June : - D
I was so thrilled to catch that first picture where the sun was outlining that cloud...made me all giddy inside.
