But what is most important - keep the memory of the joy, the laughter, the light and the love alive in your heart. It will warm you when the going gets rough in the months to come, and we all know there will be at least the odd patch of ice or a fallen tree on the road for each of us. Reach out to others to share your heart all year, and let them share in that warmth. In sharing it you keep it alive!
This is the spirit of Christmas - and it is valid no matter your custom or religion, no matter what you choose to call it. The image of a child, being watched over by loving parents, is a fitting one to symbolize the love that transcends all boundaries...

Thank you for the lovely Advent Calender- it brought much joy, and many warm, glowing feelings to my heart- as also a longing to be in my native land. It also brought an appreciation for the gift of culture and tradition, and the joy that comes with practicing these things before the holiday.
