Read & Rate This, Please Group - Top...

Well since a lot of what is being posted in this group isn't really what I would call self authored articles, I've decided to feature the top contributors to this group who are submitting original, well-written content according to the group guidelines. Please take the time to visit these Gather members and read some of their article contributions.

Timothy S. http://kane100574.gather.com/ - Tim's High School Diaries series of articles paint a vivid, emotional picture into his personal past and are well worthy of a read. The writings are dark and graphic, but are stories which enlighten and make the reader think.

Jane C. http://jcorn.gather.com/ - Jane writes on a wide variety of subjects. Some articles are personal and some are more on the informational side. Regardless of what Jane is contributing, it's well worth the time to check out.

Looking at the content posted since 10/15, more of it is along the lines of the type content the group was created for. So the mid-November installement should feature specific articles rather than group members. It's a new group and it will take time to develop and grow.

Thank you for doing this Marianne. I remember how it was to start out, and I am sure that you will get more and more relevant material. I went to join the group, but I see that I am already a member, so from now on I will make sure to post articles to your group.

I thought it was sort of a post (almost) anything group. I'll try to remember and keep my postings relevant. Thanks for clearing that up. :)

No Mary, it's not a post anything group. This group is designed for what you feel is your best stuff. Your domestic violence article is perfect and exactly the type of content I am referring to :)

Other members should try to take time to check out other members submissions as they have extra time on Gather. I know that's tough and some days I have a hard enough time trying to keep up with just my connections. I do usually browse through the group at least once a week and comment on stuff where I can :)

Just as an FYI, I do have a post anything type group, whatevauwant.gather.com. Anything that's "clean" can be posted to it.
