My world is going up in smoke......

So many of you have seen the devistation facing SoCal. My world is being reduced to a pile of ash and friends and family left in the wake of distruction.

Yes, I'm in green bay safe and sound. I wasn't born in San Diego but I spend almost my whole life there. It's My city it's the City I call home. No matter where I live, it's home. It's taking everything I have not to cry my eyes out at the lack of anything I can to do help. Cash is tight, so a donation to the red cross isn't something I can do. I'd love to send things via the mail that I have to spare... but I don't know if it would get through.

I've had friends Evacuated already, I have other friends giving every second of free time to helping those who are evacuated and all I can do is sit here and pray to either have the phone ring with family and friends saying they are safe and against hearing anything more devistating like a loss. Ramona a beautiful town has been reduced to ash. This even tops the Ceader fires a few years ago. We made it through that .. I dunno I'm rambling on here but I just hate feeling totaly helpless in the situation where so many I love and care for are affected.
