Meghan McCain Twitter--Sexy or Slutty? (photo)

Meghan McCain, yes John McCain's daughter, aired her dirty laundry last night--well it wasn't dirty it was just really slutty.  The Daily Beast blogger sent a Twitpic out last night of her in her bedroom holding a copy of Andy Warhol's biography, however, I don't think anyone noticed what she was reading.  Meghan McCain's cleavage was front and center, cha chas hanging out for the Twitter world to see--well, the whole world because as we know what goes on on Twitter NEVER stays on Twitter.

Meghan's caption for the photo was "[My] 'spontaneous' night in is my Andy Warhol biography and takeout...I'm getting old."  Innocent enough?  Now I am no prude but Meghan, when you take a picture of yourself, in your bedroom, with you cleavage as the center of the photo, porn star hair, and a "seductive" look on your face, what do you expect the response to be?

The responses flooded in, especially from conservatives who demand she apologize for her lack of class and representation of the republican party.  Meghan got many comments calling her a slut, whore, etc. She claims she has never been so hurt in her whole life, and that Twitter is supposed to be fun, but now it is cruel and mean.  Meghan are you for real?

I say man up take responsibility for your actions, apologize immensely, and NEVER DO IT AGAIN! Lesson learned?

I feel this is slutty.
Slutty, what a nasty word. She wanted attention. Otherwise she would not have her boobs hanging out like that.
She got her attention. It was not what she thought was going to happen (therefor she is now hurt and whatever), being young and foolish like kids are.....
She needs to say her apologies and move on with life.
Question she needed to ask before she did such a thing as this is, "Mom, Dad what do you think of my shirt"? If her parents are/were fine with it, then hey go for it.
There is a responsibility being in the light like this family is, if she wants it or not! I am sure she does not mind the money, traveling nor the attention she gets.
I am sure the nasty magazines will offer her a job, she can make her own money and can live how ever she wants then.

The criticisms of her are hurtful and unfortunate but she should have known she would generate feedback of all sorts (nasty, salacious, etc.) from such a photo. I don't think there's anything for her to apologize about - she should just be careful about how she presents herself for her own sake and dignity, not for anyone else (and certainly not the Republican Party).

Incredibly sexy photo, for what it's worth.

Well, she set out to make the GOP grow up about sexuality and get more young people involved. Guess she found out just what a monumental job THAT is going to be.

I think it is a bit of a tempest in a teapot. Was she naked? No. Women in the thousands go totally naked on the internet every day, some for money, some for attention, some just because their boyfriends are odd. Some do xxx rated videos which "accidentally" go out for anybody and everybody to watch.

It seems odd for so many to be scandalized by a bit of cleavage that would have been thought rather unremarkable 200 years ago. sheesh.

Its 'par for the course' and exactly how many women on social networks like myspazz and "TWIT-her" portray themselves. They have it. They flaunt it. Even if 'it' is marginal. I'm guessing she'd lose her 'appeal' once engaged in conversation...emphasis on 'guessing'.
