Oklahoma gets ridiculous in July and August. The temperatures here reached 115 degrees in some parts of the state. 111 in my part of town. We are talking in the shade. The pool water is not refreshing, but it's better than not having a pool. Some of my neighbors' air conditioners are dying. I just got mine fixed in May when it was in the 80's.
How are your temperatures?

Its 79 here right now and I am sweating. I think I would die if it was 111 degrees.
Oh, babe! That's terrible! I think we may have reached 75 so far today. That's warm for the PNW though.
Oh wow. That is too hot to breath.
That's too darn hot, OMG! It's 75 here right now, suppose to be 89 tomorrow!
My lil thingy in my tool bar says it is 81* but I know it feels more like 90* because it is so humid out there!

sounds like you need more than a pool & an a/c!!!! it's 81, overcast & muggy here in my corner of michigan, today!! :)
We were close to 90 today.
Our daughter is in Oklahoma right now for church teen camp, I bet she is roasting!
She's roasting.
the time and temp at the bank said it was 89 at 3pm don't know what the heat index is but it was suffacating. the humidity must have gone down some it feels better outside now.
It's 79° here.
I really LOVE it hot, so I'd love it where you are. I was in heaven when I went to Texas and Arizona, while everyone else was dying.
I can't even think Texas right now.
It's 87 here, but it's very humid. And it rains every day.
I have my AC in the apartment set at 65...it's 80 at 8:30 PM outdoors. I was hiking around and walking at the Lake Ontario beach earlier. I was warm from that alone, but I did it...even if I did have to crawl up a hill on my hands and knees to make it to the top.
RIght now you don't even want your car handles facing south because you can't open the car with the handles without a pot holder.
