No Electricity - What to do? What to do?

It's raining here today and this morning I woke up to no electricity.  Bummer.  What to do?  This means no washday, no TV, no internet and worst of all no Mr. Coffee or in my case, no Proctor Silex coffeemaker.  What to do?  Woo Hoo, my stove operates on propane gas so I pulled out the old, old, old aluminum stove top peculator from the back of the cupboard, washed it and filled it with water, scooped the coffee into the little aluminum basket and placed it on the stove.  It still works, it perked up a tasty pot of coffee.  Now, what to do?  Six months ago I had shoved two pictures under the bed that needed to be reframed and I just never got around to reframing them.  I pulled them out from under the bed along with their new frames, took them apart, reframed them and then hung them back up in their designated spot on the wall.  They look great.  The electricity came on about ten minutes after I finished this chore.  Hooray, I'm saved from a day of living by my wits and can now rely on my TV and the internet for my brains.  Woo Hoo, Woo Hoo!
