First Tulip this year and the last of the Iris

This is my first tulip this spring.  Isn't it pretty?  I have a quite a few of them, but the red ones are the prettiest.  They don't last long, but they sure are pretty when they do bloom.  The green behind it are day lillies and I have a lot of them, I'll take a picture of them when they bloom.  The iris are about finished blooming, I think this is the last of them.  My purple iris did not bloom this year, or they haven't yet anyway.  See all the leaves?  They are from my oak trees and all of my flower beds are full of them.  Next weekend is flower bed clean up time.

They are so beautiful Lee! My tuplips are up about 3-4 inches and my daylilies are up about an inch! I am so ready for blooms in my yard.

The leaves must cut down on the weeds. I would leave them there. Beautiful flowers, can't wait till ours come up.
