Nature's Child

NATURE'S CHILD

I am a child of nature.

My nature is to be

Whatever I want to be;

To discover what there is

Inside me waiting to be;

To chase the farthest star,

Explore the deepest sea,

Or find my great adventure

In the world surrounding me.

I am a child of nature.

My nature is to be

The best that I can be.

As I look into the future,

As far as I can see,

Life is full of beauty,

Rich with possibility,

Though the road there may be bumpy,

Steep and slippery.

I am a child of nature.

My nature is to be

A seeker of harmony.

By being fair with all,

Treating each with sensitivity,

I'll pursue cooperation,

A golden opportunity

For each to find a life that's good,

Together in ecology.

I am a child of nature.

My nature is to see

How nature does all elegantly.

Her laws show grace and beauty

In being so orderly.

And I can choose and use them

Because I was born free.

I am nature's favorite child,

Full of precocity.
