Update on forms........

Okay, if you read my last post you will probably come really close to not believing this.  I just got a phone call from the school.  I noticed the number and assumed it would be my daughter freaking out about "the picture form".  But it wasn't.  It was the school nurse.  She had my daughtert in there because she had a headache.  Here is this conversation:

Nurse- Hello, this is the school nurse and I have your daughter Miranda in my office.

Me- Yes

Nurse- Miranda has a headache and I needed to know if I can give her some Tylenol or ibuprophen.

 Me- Oh, sure.  Ibuprophen is fine.

Nurse- Okay, I wasn't sure and I don't have a "form" here signed by you saying it's okay.

Me-Snork snork snork.  A form.  I never got a form to fill out.

Nurse- Oh, I know.  I don't give them the form to fill out until they come in and need something.  So I will need for her to bring this home to you and have you sign it.  Okay?

Me- Ummmmmm, Uhhhhhhh, okay.  I will sign it tonight when she gets home, but are you going to give her the ibuprophen now.  She has the headache now.

Nurse- Oh yes I will here she is.

Me- ???????? Hello?

Daughter- ????????  Hello?????

Me- Hello.

Daughter- what did you need?

Me- nothing.  What did you need?

Daughter- nothing.

Me- Okay, take your prophen and I will see you when you get home........unless you needed me to sign a form for you to get back on the bus.

Daughter- I don't think so.  Bye.

Me- Bye.

Now, I am not kidding you in any way, shape or form about this conversation or the one earlier.  It just awes me that people can be SOOOOOO dumb and survive in the world every day!!!
