That is so cute. It's been a long time since I've tried to catch a grasshopper, but I know it was fun. And, they are so fun to watch.

I don't get many here, probably too many neighbors spraying. There's always some up at my mother's place.
I remember catching them and some of them would spit this brown stuff.

I can remember the real big grashoppers spiting the brown stuck. I never figured out why.

That is so sweet. She was so excited to have that critter in her hand! I know my grandchildren love trying to catch them. I love watching them.

We get them. They were fun to catch as a child, but I just let them loose after looking enough. We didn't live close to a fishing pond. It's very sweet your daughter would bring one to you.
