Exploring the Yard - Photo Essay

I really wanted to go for a walk the other day, but it was rainy and nasty. Then, we noticed a break in the storms, so Sammie, Sweet Pea and I went outside and explored our yard. Sweet Pea had fun running around and pointing at everything. Sammie took some photos, and then she would watch her sister so I could take some, too. 

This is the sun starting to peek out from behind the clouds. It was beckoning to us, and we couldn't ignore it's call.

This is a pretty flower we found in the front yard. I really liked the bright, yellow color, especially on such a rainy day.

These flowers are in our front and side yard. I think they are Irises. We have white, light blue and dark blue ones. I will publish pictures of the other colors later.

I love purple flowers. These were in the back yard. 

I'm not really sure what these are, but I thought they looked interesting. They were in the back yard, too.

This beautiful bush was in the back corner of our yard.

At this point, we started getting attacked by huge, ferocious Bumblebees. Since the sky was looking ominous again anyway, we decided to quickly head back inside. Thank you for sharing our romp through the yard with us.
