Some of the turtles that stop by to visit and some that I have spotted on my journeys.

This one looks like I woke him up!
Before I bothered him to take a photo.

This was at Brookgreen Gardens. He's on some type of pipe.

This one is rather pretty, don't you think?

The race is on!

Traffic jamb!

It's a triathlon, they have to race up the hill.
So they disappeared out of sight and I have no idea who won or what the prize was. Maybe a bowl of flies?
I hope you liked my small collection of turtle photos.

Once we saw a turtle in the road by the zoo. We walked slow behind it all the way to assure he was back by the zoo and safely out of the road.
What great photos!
Jennifer, you were so kind to this poor lost turtle. I would have picked him up and taken him back. That must have been a sloooow walk!
The turtle with yellow on it is so beautiful!!
Marianne none of these were taken yesterday, but I could take photos of turtles every day. The pond is loaded with them, out back and throughout the area.
I'm waiting until turtle season here in Florida - starting now in fact. I'd love to go down the beach at night and see the turtles laying their eggs.
Tony we were wondering if turtles lay eggs on the beach here. I'll have to check into that. It would be great to see.
Turtles are so cool!
I used to have two as pets. They were a lot of fun to watch!
