I thought I would update everyone on my family!
My grandmother has moved from the hospital into the health care center at her assisted living center. Her Medicare will pay for her rehabilitation, only as long as their is improvement in her condition. When the doctors determine she has reached a level of recovery to function on her own again, she will go back to her apartment. If she reaches a plateau before she gets to that point, then we will have to see if we can find more care for her. My aunt has considered taking her home, but there are just too many stairs that she could not stay in the spare room, and my uncle would have trouble doing that as well, because of some problems he has with his knee. To come here, we would need to install ramps, but the house is on one level. I don't think she would be comfortable here anyway with our animals. I guess we will have to cross that bridge when we get there.
Missy *Livin La Vida Loki* C. is home from the hospital today. (a great Easter present, I am sure) We are giving thanks and praise for all of the prayers she has recieved, because the Legionnaires Pneumonia could have been fatal. She was finally cleared by the centers for disease control this morning. They are sending her home on the same meds in pill form. Please continue to pray for her recovery and improvement, so that she will be strong enough for knee replacement surgery in a couple of months, that she really needs to improve her mobility. Also to make sure that she completely gets rid of the illness, and stay healthy so she can get the surgery!
My family and I would like to thank all of you for your kind words and prayers during these trying times lately. My stepmother made it through the visitation and funeral for her finacee, and is slowly working on returning back to her life, and carry on from there.
God Bless all the prayers!
Thanks be to God for all of the improvements they have made since everyone started praying for them.
