I woke up today, and my stomach and sides and back are covered with hives. I look like I have the chicken pox. I have not eaten or worn anything new, to have a reaction to it.
Does anyone know what this is? Has it ever happened to you?

Cherish, I'm always stressed.
Denise, it's like a red bump, that's it. All over my stomach, sides, and back. About 1/4" to a 1/2" diameter.
Monica, Sheryl and Danielle. If it doesn't go away, I guess I will have to go to the doctor's Wed.
Thanks for all your input my friends. I appreciate it.
I hope you find the solution. My sister tried 11 different creams and the last one only worked on certain areas...
Good luck and kept us posted.
;-) especially if you feel yukky
It could be your detergent. Medicines you've never had a problem with and all of a sudden your body has reached its limit and it says - no more. I've had that too and after years of being able to take Sulfa drugs, I no longer can.
Since I've had this happen so many times, if it is not better by the next day I definitely go to the doctor. They give me steroids and I start getting better. If I wait too long, it spreads so quickly that my throat and eyes start swelling shut. That means an IMMEDIATE trip to the urgent care facility or the emergency room.
I feel for you. I hope it's better by tomorrow. A couple of suggestions you can do yourself, take some benedryl, take a bath in Aveeno Oatmeal bath (either the powder or liquid), and put something with calamine lotion on the really red patches.
Sure hope you get to feeling better soon~~~~Take care
Just go.
Blessings...and love...
