It All Started With Bees How I Met My Husband

My daughters and I were leaving church one evening when a tall, handsome man followed us to our car. He introduced himself to me and we began to talk. While we visited, my daughters ran into a field beside the church to look at some flowers. When we were in the midst of visiting, we heard the girls scream, and turned around to see both of them running from the field. They had stepped on a yellow jacket hive, and were being swarmed by bees. Regan grabbed a hold of my youngest daughter. Her long hair was full of bees, and they were inside her shirt. He ripped her shirt off (he didn't realize that she was seven years old, because she was small for her age, and looked much younger) to brush the bees away, and began pulling the bees out of her hair. I took off after my oldest daughter who was headed straight for a busy street, screaming and not paying any attention to where she was running. I caught her and began getting all the bees off her clothes and out of her hair. Once we got the bees off the girls, we were suddenly surrounded by a group of concerned women. With all that was going on with the children crying and all the women hovering, Regan backed away and went home before I could even tell him thank you. I rushed the girls off to the emergency room because they had so many bee stings. By the next time I ran into regan at church, I had gotten back together with a former boyfriend. I told him thank you, but he was so embarrassed that he had taken off my daughters shirt, that he was afraid to talk to me. It would be two years after that before we finally got to know each other and became friends. We still laugh about that first meeting...all except our daughters who still have a morbid fear of bees!
