After the SNOW

Well we got about 4 inches on Sunday and I took some pictures and thought I would share our little storm.

This is at my son's preschool, after the kids had been out for recess.

The sand box looks a bit odd will all the snow on it.

The little island in the lake got a good coating too.

The round barn has it's winter white on as well.

My kids swing set and toys all cover with snow.

the last aspen with ALL of it's leaves, all the rest have lost all or at least the majority of their leaves.

Another snow cover tree, makes it look like Christmas is comming soon.

Lovely pictures. Yes it is pretty. But it is also cold and it is warm down here. Lol, a bit humid as we expect more welcome rain tomorrow, but just warm enough that I feel toasty.

the bear is NOT real, he is a painted cut out my mother-in-law made and is in MY yard sorry I was not clear on that, LOL

but yes we do have a bear "problem" they like to get in my trash and lurk in the trees just to scare me but I can't usually get them on film as they get easily annoyed when you just stand there, LOL.

Denise, this looks beautiful and that mountain photo is gorgeous. Here in PA it is still in the high 70's and low 80's. Such odd weather.

LOL...I was kind of wondering about the bears myself! I love the snow capped trees and the beauty of a white winter...but I don't miss having to shovel, scrape, or drive in it. I love it for recreation, but not for living in. Excellent photo's!

I enjoy looking at snow pictures but I don't like being in the snow. I'm not a cold weather person, hello, I'm in Southern California...hehe :)

lovely photos! Especially the mountains one!

We def won't see any snow here in FL, but at Christmas we will be visiting the inlaws in Montana, and so I am sure that we will see some snow then!

The first few inches of snow on the pine trees and hillsides can be terrific for your camera. After that ... it's work! Ugh! I don't really miss it. The " mountain in the distance." photo is really nice. That's what I like.

The pictures of snow are beautiful, but I have to admit I am not crazy about snow. I am a 'summer time girl'. Living w/i a few miles of Myrtle Beach all my life has really spoiled me. (10)
