Love and Compassion

Hopes and Dreams

Kindness and generosity

What does it all mean?

 

Words are just words

And don't mean a thing

To someone who's hurt

And a victim of schemes

 

Truth and honesty

Have no substance or bite

Without the action

To back up the fight.

 

It would be kinder

To walk past the scene

Unless forgiveness and mercy

Can be a part of things.

 

It is your actions

Not the words you allow

That give things their meaning

And show others how.

'By their fruits you will know them'......I agree entirely with your sentiment. In this complex and duplicitous world words are cheap. The Christian message of love and reconciliation requires action, not words.
