Alison, I missed you, too. My husband and I have been traveling extensively due to business, and I have had no time to devote to writing. Had some time this afternoon though, and it felt so good to publish again. :)

I love how you've metaphorically presented this, Autumn. Nice symbolic work that can be taken literally in regard to the tastiness of the tomato from having been well gardened by the gardener; or allegorical of something wonderful having come from the prisoner with the right kind of warden, if you will, at the helm. Persuasive content.

The words gardener and prisoner can be pronounced with either two or three syllables:

gardener - gaard'ner or gar·den·er

prisoner - prízz'ner or pris·on·er

Just stopping by for a revisit! I enjoy reading this; especially this time of year. I like the idea of the tomato plant in the cage being a 'productive' prisoner of the gardener.
