Alison, I missed you, too. My husband and I have been traveling extensively due to business, and I have had no time to devote to writing. Had some time this afternoon though, and it felt so good to publish again. :)
*Had to make a correction [before the deadline tonight] in lines 2 and 3. I'll have to get back into the swing of things! :)
My mouth waters at the shot of your 'mater plants.
Blessings,
Wilka
Amy: Yes, it is short... haiku must be! :)
So glad you could taste the tomato.
Sheila & Barbra: Thank you so much! I'm so glad you loved reading this, Barbra.
Mike: Thank you!
Susan and Wanda: Appreciate your stopping by! Thank you, Wanda, for the invite!
Jan & Kathy: Thank you, too!
Tracey: Thank you so much for your kind words and for having chosen my haiku as a third place win. I appreciate it so much!
Thank you, too, for that cute little graphic! I appreciate that!
The words gardener and prisoner can be pronounced with either two or three syllables:
gardener - gaard'ner or gar·den·er
prisoner - prízz'ner or pris·on·er
I thank you very much! Your comment is very much appreciated!
