Gray Days and Sun Rays (Terzanelle)
It's one of those gray days
where we have to assume
the sun still shares its rays
It's a day filled with gloom
rain oozes from the skies
where we have to assume
tear drops ooze from my eyes
outside gloom matches mine
rain oozes from the skies
I tell him that I'm fine
We can't both be down now
outside gloom matches mine
At least my mood will bow
Soon as the sun pops free
We can't both be down now
I'll jump back into me
Soon as the sun pops free
It's one of those gray days
the sun still shares its rays

Beautiful poem, very interesting form. It does provide (or demand?) a real line of continuity, and your rhyming flowed gracefully.
Thanks, great write.

I believe how I think of myself is what matters most.
I love this style, and the lines you've chosen as repeats are stunning; another fine example of your unique talent.
