Sandmen
we're powdery people
that wake up at night
sit on our ankles
and crumble in fright
invisible sisters
glances give chase
droplets of destiny
in watery fates
smooth through an hour glass
sandy souls melt away
don't know where I'm going
but here I can't stay
their dusty arrows
now miss their mark
we're all misty smiles
that glint in the dark
intangible brothers
that drink just like wine
spill through your fingers
and sprinkle your mind
we capture your breath
and leave before dawn
dancers of dander
one sneeze and we're gone
