Ouch! - Single Word Challenge (Disc)

They told me not to pick it up

But I was in a hurry

I know I should have listened,

But, I said they shouldn't worry.

Now I'll have to rest a while

It was sure not worth the risk,

But the box was much too heavy

And I must have slipped a disc.

So, I'll while away the hours

Watching Soap Operas all day,

And promising myself

That I won't lift again that way.

A good poem to emphasize why not to lift something too heavy. But if you like soap operas something good can come of this, I guess. Nice poem.
