I love this week's Poetry Please challenge. It brought to mind the saying "Don't blink or you'll miss it", which is very much what this poem is about. I wrote it for a friend, a musician who said he has been too busy to spend time on his music. Likewise, I have not left much room in my life for writing lately. I need this reminder, as I suppose most of us do at one point or another: Don't blink...hold tight.

I can clearly see the message "Don't blink or you'll miss it" in your poem, Kristen. I loved the charm of circusy movement.

Kristen. This is a poem that reminds us to sieze the day, life is fleeting. I never new how much until lately, when things seem to FLY by us. Here's the magic in your piece...flowing in us. Let us grab this day and immerse ourselves in the joy of writing.

Kristen, I loved the pace of the poem. Life goes by fast so hold on tight or you'll miss it. Life is what you make of it. we can all be grateful for the blessings life brings us or we can miss the beauty in life and let it pass us by. It is our choice. I would rather hold on tight and catch all the blessings.
