Envelop me with your arms
Warm me with your body heat
Protect me
Love me
Need me
Desire me
Lust for me
Free me
And let me go
When my day is over
And I will wait for you
Among the stars
My Soul Bright and Welcoming
To warm you with my Spirit Heat
To protect you
Love you
Need you
Desire you
Lust for you
Free you
And then the miracle becomes
Two souls in Dimmer Mode
Seeking the other
Merge, Now One
Energy combines, explodes, creates
Solidifies into Single Soul
Enveloped one into the other
For Eternity

Cindy T., Thank you. Yes, it is the unity that prevails here.
And let me go
When my day is over
And I will wait for you
Among the stars"
Thank you, Lune. I'm glad you liked it.
What a good subject and poem for that particular word.
Thank you, Marge.
Barbary, Yeah, that was a whole lot of envelopin' goin' on. LOL. And it felt good too. Thank you for reading this.
Thank you, Ellie M. I am glad you saw this one.
Thanks, Ina, and yes, it did take on a sensual life of its own. Writing something can really surprise me sometimes. Thank you for stopping by.
Hi, Deb J., It is so nice to see you. But then, it always is.
Thank you, Curt L.
Ah, Terry, the Master of love poems, thank you for reading mine. I appreciate it.
Anita, thank you for commenting. I am grateful.
Mariana, Yes, it was supposed to be like that, through time, through death and through Spirit life that waits to be joined and exploded into new joined life again. I appreciate you coming by to read this.
Thank you, Alison. Hey, I think congratulations are in order for you.
who believed that souls were split, and needed to find their other halves to continue to fly. Plato wrote about this in Symposium, but it was Zeus that did the original split.
The best part, for me is the pacing of this piece. When I read it aloud, it is like a perfect replica of (a-hemmmm) togetherness! Specifically these lines: (my faves)
"Seeking the other / Merge, Now One / Energy combines, explodes, creates / Solidifies into Single Soul / Enveloped one into the other"
The pace picks up with each word until right at the end, when it softens and smooths out. Ah! Lovely.

Thank you, Kathleen, yes, I like that Spirit Heat too. I think Spirit Heat feels better than Body Heat. What do you think? And thank you for stopping by.
and I have read your comments about that Valentine's image and also about your daughter's painting of that..How sweet of her...Is she still paints...and hanks Lynn for stongly liking the Namaste tradition ..
Namaste and love you
I'm glad you liked my poem. I do too. My husband was rather stunned. So was my daughter.
Wilma, I'm back now, at least until supper. I'm cooking tonight. That means I'm warming up a pot of spaghetti. Hard work, huh.
'Two souls in Dimmer Mode
Seeking the other'
Thank You, Norma. I value you opinion very much and am always willing to listen to whatever you have to say. Tonight I think it is going to be geography. There's a geography book upstairs. How about that?
Norma, What would I do if I didn't come reading to you? I've gotten used to it now. When I wake up at these ridiculous hours all I can think is how fun it will be to go wake you up. LOL. Sometimes my friend, Kate, and I would talk on the phone at 4:30 in the morning. Then we'd go back to sleep. I miss her.
