Cupid armed with bow and arrows
Smiles impishly in February sessions
Pierces hearts for tomorrows
He aims desires and obsessions
Smiles impishly in February sessions
Celebrates this cosmic myth
He aims desires and obsessions
Along with psyche's innermost depth
Celebrates this cosmic myth
Releases metaphysical dimensions
Along with psyche's innermost depth
He drops untamed nuptial affections
Releases metaphysical dimensions
Pierces hearts for tomorrows
He drops untamed nuptial affections
Cupid armed with bow and arrows
I have tried Pantoum Poetry Style. The pantoum consists of a series of quatrains rhyming ABAB in which the second and fourth lines of a quatrain recur as the first and third lines in the succeeding quatrain, each quatrain introduces a new second rhyme as BCBC, CDCD. The first line of the series recurs as the last line of the closing quatrain, and third line of the poem recurs as the second line of the closing quatrain, rhyming ZAZA. the ending stanza then repeats the second and fourth lines of the previous stanza (as its first and third lines), and also repeats the third line of the first stanza, as its second line, and the first line of the first stanza as its fourth. So the first line of the poem is also the last.

It's like listing to a set of lovers' conversation...like, working together, at cross purposes, and trying to say the same thing repeatedly to be heard. I love it.
The repeating, also adds real impact to the message. and the meanings we assign to the phrases change, based on where they're placed in relation to the other lines.
Way Cool!

First of all I love that icon of you with your handsome husband. You both look so happy that you light up the room.
You made a brilliant success of that very difficult poetic form. Well done and I love your February message. The month of love.
