first instinct is to say no. However, I imagine that if faced with the possibility of their death...I would give them mouth to mouth. And I have st bernards!

Most people have no problem licking there finger as they count out cash right? Most dirtiest thing one can do.
If my breath could save another living creatures life, take it, I will give it freely.

The human mouth is so dirty!! Hopefully not giving anything to the critter lol!!

People think they are so much better then other living critters, I wonder why? Maybe if we took ourselves not so seriously the world would be in a better condition then it is?
The way we see it here, even our gardens are shared with the critters..... and other humans.

I would never let my animal die if there was something that I could do to save her. I actually was faced with this one time. When I used to breed and show my dogs, one of my champions was whelping a litter. A little "runt" girl was born. She was having very labored breathing and was chilled......which means they can die very quickly. This is when I proceeded to give her mouth to snout. She started to breath normally but was still very chilled. I rubbed her and put her inside of my shirt close to my body. Long story short, I took her to my vet and he told me that he couldn't have done a better job himself. Saving another living creature's life.....well there's just nothing like it!

That's what happened to me, but there was a problem with the little guy. He was born without a tail, but otherwise he looked like the others. He went into a seizure and I was able to bring him out of it, but he died the next day.

Yes I would, and would for any animal that I could save. I have never been in that situation, thank God, but know that I would not think about it for a second. My dogs are like my children too!!! Would I watch my children die without trying to do everything that I could do to save them???? I don't think that there are many good pet owners that would!!!!!

When I found the lizard on a garden wall still alive after being attacked by my cat, I attempted mouth-to-mouth but he died anyway. I hope I didn't hasten his demise, he was too far gone.
