Stormy Weather

I'm playing around with cover art ideas for my new release, Stormy Weather, coming in Oct 2009 from Second Wind Publishing. I tried to get rid of the white space between the photos so you could see how it would look as a whole, but I can't. Do you like the first rainbow option, or the second?

Do you think the photos should butt up against one another, or do you think there should be a solid band between the two with the name of the book on it?

Thanks for your advice!

I prefer the second option......the photo looks more like "storm weather" to me.

I too prefer the second one because of the stormy weather it represents. Whichever one you chose, I know it will look great.

They are both gorgeous but I personally prefer the first, thinking a solid band would look awesome between the two as well. Very cool!

I think the first one is more hopeful with the rainbow stretching upward. Both are very nice but I prefer the unusual angle of the rainbow in the first one.

how to choose?
If it´s about the storm, #2 seems better.
But #1 is more hopeful maybe - because it's brighter...

A solid band might be nice...

Love them both Sherrie!! I think I like option #2 the best!! The beautiful arch rainbow is what I always see in my mind when I picture Noah stepping off the ark!! I always see God sitting on top of the big arch....knowing He keeps His promises forever!!
