Good morning Gather,
Browsing this Sunday morning's paper, I came across the story of Faith, the biped canine. She is a five year old Chow mix. She was born with a shriveled left leg and a legless partial right paw. She has developed into an accomplished biped for the love of peanut butter on a spoon and tossed gummy bears. She has been on Oprah and Montel and has an upcoming engagement in Instanbul.
Faith's owner, Jude Stringfellow, gave up her job as a teacher in Oklahoma to take Faith on the road. Her son found Faith as an abandoned puppy and the dog has grown into a calling and a career. I found the whole story and photo quite amazing and wanted to share it with all the great animal lovers here on Gather.

How fantastic it is that someone found her and loved her into being her best.
My Dad always said that the more he saw of people the better he liked dogs. Maybe this capability is what he was talking about. So many people don't have what they require to excel. May we all learn from this.
