Art Festival in Winter Haven

I went to the art festival in the park this weekend.  They put up new sculptures recently, so I took pictures of those.  They also had people selling pictures, pottery, sculptures, and glassworks.  It was a beautiful day with people all over the park.  They had dancers in one area.  Here are a few of the new sculptures.  I will try to get pictures of them all later.  Some of the tents were in the way. 

 First, one from the art show (that won't be staying in the park), but I thought it was cute.  It was made by a student. 

 

 

 

 

 

Now, an abstract statue.  I was afraid this wouldn't turn out as there was little light, but it looks okay. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a bronze? (I think) sculpture. 

 

 

 

 

This is a set of two sculputers that go together (a crane and a snake).

Chuck, I don't like baseball. I really hate when they have games because the area is NOT made for the amount of traffic it generates. It takes 20 minutes to go less than a mile when they are having a game.

Very cool, I wonder if they swap those sculptures out for the one's here in Sarasota at St. Armands Park...every once in awhile they will switcvh out the art that is up!

That's really great! I loved the sculptures. We have some small t-rexes that are covered in what looks like color comics here in Pittsburgh. :)
