Hello, all of my wonderful Gather friends!
Today I have just a smattering of photos of a few different things I found photo-worthy around the old singlewide here in the "wild hinterlands" in the hills east of Cloverdale, Northern California...
First, my "Jeanne Keanelly" miniature roses are blooming like crazy since Hubby fertilized them:

Keanellys are prolific bloomers with darling flowers and they smell wonderful, too! :o)
And I got a couple of shots of the Anna's hummingbird partaking of my ivy geraniums:

(Don't his green feathers look like they're made out of some kind of metal or precious stones or something? Beautiful! :o) )
And here's a really pretty bud of one of my "Hot Tamale" miniature roses:

I just LOVE the "gradient" of red to yellow colors in that rose, don't you?
Across the driveway, there's a piece of the fence between our place and the neighbors' that looks like it's made out of the springs of an old bed or something... This piece of the fence is totally different than any other part of its 10 acre or so length:

Does it look like part of an old bed to you? Still... It's kinda neat... :o)
And, lastly, I thought my little garden statue of a gnome in a watering can looked pretty surrounded by the budding blossoms of my white chrysanthemum (both given to me by a friend two years ago on my birthday...):

I can't wait 'til the mums flowers are all bloomed out! I'll take another photo then for you all to see -- I promise!
Well, have a fun and relaxing Saturday, my friends... :^D
luv,
jean

And Heather! (The gnome IS cute, isn't he? :o) )
As always, your photos are a treat.
... I'm thrilled to see you making excellent use of it.
Oh, Pat! You don't know the HALF of it! I've gotten some GREAT pictures with my new Canon! The one I took of the hawk with his talons out in mid flight with his mouth open was SPECTACULAR! (If I DO say so myself! ...lol...) OH! Wait a minute! It's posted on photobucket so I might be able to link to it right here... Let's see:
Thanks so much for posting this to
