I joined a group last week and this is what I came up for the Weekend prompt - which was to do a page showing what you did for your weekend. I had to use two pages to illustrate it all and have some room to work with.
So, this is the page illustrating going to see Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince.

The pictures and the name was traced on vinyl from online and pieced and cut out of cardstock and scrapbook paper as well as holographic wrapping mylar.
The left side:

Sorry for the glare, wanted it to show that it's all pieced together, though it doesn't show much. I was going to mismatch the papers so it showed better but decided against that idea.
The name is cut out of gold cardstock.
The right side:

The hat is scrapbooking paper the band on it as well as the wand handle is leather covering from a tape case that Gideon ripped up years ago. I saved to for this sort of use. The red is holographic mylar.
The layout showing the rest of our weekend - a party at Borders (Spongebob Theme) and the butterfly garden at Olbricht.

Patrick and SPongebob were traced on vinyl from online and paper pieced together. The background is scrapbook paper from Dollar Tree that I had here and the butterflies I had years ago from pages my gramma gave me.
The left side:

Sorry it's a bit dark. The flash washed it all out.
The right side:

So, there you have it the first work done in months... but it was fun. *Grin*

Haha Spongebob is fun. There was a marathon on all this weekend and Gideon watched it all.
Work should stop and recognize the important things, like Spongebob celebrations.
They totally should! I know several other Kmart employees that would've loved to watch them. We should've had a pow-wow back in the break room and told the customers they could either join us or get out until the marathon was done. xD Store's closed unless you want to watch Spongebob.
I declare any new Spongebob show a Yellebration and HOLIDAY. Schools and Jobs MUST take note!
I second that motion! Motion carries. :D
I've had many weekends like that - or ones spent online. Mostly when the weather turns cold, that's just about every winter weekend here.
