I had to go to the mall yesterday to do some Christmas shopping. Not necessarily something I look forward to. Especially on a Saturday and especially the week before Christmas. Normally, I do all my shopping online but every year there is always one item that I actually have to brave the mall for. (I cant tell you what that item was because the person it is for will definitely be reading this) Anyway, as Im walking around, I spot this guy, in his 40's doing his shopping while wearing a fake Santa beard. How great is that? The white string showing, wrapping around his greying head. You could see how everyone who spotted him was instantly cheered up. Such a little thing to bring a little enjoyment. So, here is to the man in the fake Santa beard, who made many people smile, at the mall on a saturday the week before Christmas... Enjoy!

Great work, as always, Keemo. And, I love the way you connect your writings with your artistic creations.
Blessings,
Rene A.
Thanks for another thoughtful comment. Sorry about the delay in getting back with you. I guess in answer to your question, I dont really seperate the writing and the painting. I guess I just put them together and this is what I end up with. I do see both of them as dependant on each other though. I like to think that you end up with something a little different when you pair words with pictures. (As opposed to just a painting or just a story.) As far as when, the writing takes place. It varies, but usually, it is a couple hours later because I usually do the writing part later at night when the house is quiet.
Thanks again for you wonderful comments.
