While Grandparents and Aunt opened their gifts, Kyleigh started to play around with the new toys. She asked Daddy to put all her new clothes, jeans, cloth book, and apron on top of Little Bee. Kyleigh pushed the doll bed, but it wouldn't move. Daddy said he might try to add four wheels on the legs later.

We had previously put up all of our White House Ornament collection on the Christmas tree except the 2008 ornament. It was traditionally a gift item for Grandma, and we didn't want to spoil it. Now that Grandma opened her box, Kyleigh wanted to put ours up in the tree as well.

Mommy had been busy taking pictures and now it was Daddy's turn to take the camera, so Mommy could open her gifts. Kyleigh quickly volunteered to help Mommy opening the gifts. I got a beautiful fleece blanket from Grandpa, who bought the piece shortly after I became a US citizen. Kyleigh loved the fleece blanket and kept trying to wrap herself up with it.

Mommy also got a hand-made snowman pillow, which Kyleigh immediately related to her snowman apron. The next gift was a box of 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle with Jelly Belly Beans' picture on the front. My mom had recently bought some Jelly Belly Beans, so Kyleigh recognized the candies. She kept urging me to open the box so she could have some candies. My husband and I explained to her that this was a puzzle and there was no real candy, but she couldn't comprehend. So I opened the box and showed her the bag of jigsaw puzzle pieces. Kyleigh looked very confused, and decided that this couldn't possibly taste good, and returned the puzzle bag to me.
I also received a set of 5 bracelets. Kyleigh loved gem stones and wanted to wear one. I asked her to choose one and she picked a bracelet with round stones.

My last gift was a slow cooker, so hopefully I could throw something in there in the morning and have dinner ready to go when Kyleigh gets home from day care.
Kyleigh was getting tired, and made herself a bed with Mommy's snowman pillow, blanket, and bracelet, next to Little Bee in the doll bed.

Needless to say, it wasn't too long before we took Kyleigh upstairs. I am sure she had a good dream that night.
