Christmas Ornaments on the Tree.....(photo essay)

I think the Christmas ornaments on one's tree tell a lot about a person...what they like anyway.

Our tree looks a little sad this year, and I can't figure out why. The box to the right held some presents that one of my Gather friends sent us. That train around the tree is my Lego train...complete with a Lego train station. The train was having some issues this year as well, and it didn't want to stay on the tracks.

We have an angel on top of the tree...and her wings change colors.  With white lights on the tree, I think the tree needs some color. I wish I had caught her with the blue or purple wings...very pretty.

I have lots of trains on the top part of my tree. My grandfather was a train conductor, and I remember as a child going out to the train yard to visit and ride to the station on the train. These are the Hallmark train series ornaments, and though I don't have all the train cars (too expensive), I should have all the train engines....and the two special engines (one from this year).

Every tree needs a pair of wooden shoes...it's a Dutch tradition.

This is one of our many Snoopy ornaments. Pher and I love Snoopy...and we have tried to get the Hallmark one every year....we didn't this year for some reason. I do have my mini Snoopy ornaments though (maybe I'll get some photos of the mini tree too).

I only have 2 of the Precious Moments dancers...hopefully, I'll get the other 4 (?) someday. I do collect Precious Moments, and I do have a few porcelin PM ornaments that I don't put on the tree. I know my family well enough to know that the ornaments would get broken.

Of coarse I have one of these....LOL....doesn't every Nascar fan have an ornament?

Or two?

These are just a few of the many ornaments on our tree....we have Pooh Bears, Tiggers, and Goofys too. My husband had the kids put some of his Simpsons ornaments on one lower part of the tree (ick)....and we have some homemade ornaments in a spot also. Perhaps I'll take some more photos before we take down the tree.
