Andie opened her quilt!...photos

Andie is my son's girlfriend and I made her a quilt for Christmas, as my son's request.  He also helped in picking out the fabric I used...the softballs and the KU-Kansas University fabric for the back.   I knew I wouldn't get to see her on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, so I let her open her present early. 

 

She was a bit hesitant at first, since it was days before Christmas. 

 

I asked her if she was one of those 'paper savers'....because we definitely weren't!  Then she started tearing a bit more:

 

Wait a minute....has she figured it out??

 

Look at that big grin on her face!

 

 

 

I think she likes it!!!

Hi Carol, no - that was Brandon's. I ended up breaking 11 needles on it and finally changed how I quilted it (instead of free motion, I finished with in-the-ditch and other straight lines.) But I got it done! :-) )

Ron, you're talking about the smiling, I guess.....the funny thing is she is SOOOO redheaded and could be my younger son's sister....as much as Brandon picks on Justin for being redheaded, it's funny that he has a redheaded girlfriend. She is a sweet girl and I really like her. (so that probably means my son won't date her very long! ha!)
