My Incredible Christmas Tradition with my Family!!

I'm married with 3 children, I have a 19 year old son and 2 daughters ages 14 and 6.  My husband would love to leave lasting traditons with them so they can carry on with their families.

Our tradition always starts with driving around looking at all the beautiful christmas lights. 

Then we come home and make our Ginger Bread House

 

All my son wanted to do was eat the house, we also let the children open their stockings and we drink hot chocolate and listen to Christmas music.

Wonderful traditions!
On Christmas Eve we go to church & then we let our daughter open 1 present.
Sounds great!

Our weather was horrid today, so we stayed in instead of going to look at lights, like we normally do.

Great traditions to pass on to your kids! The gingerbread house turned out great and your mantel looks wonderful! We also do the driving around looking at Christmas lights. My 19 month old really enjoyed it this year. Every house we drove by he said ohhhh pretty! More more!

We made a gingerbread house one year and I got sick from eating all the icing. Now my family loves to tease me about it every time they see a Gingerbread house.

It sounds like you have a lot of great traditions. I think that looking at Christmas lights is really neat. That gingerbread house looks good enough to eat.
