Santa's Checking....100 Word Stories, Week 42!

There was a name here that wasn't quite right.  Or...wait.  Was something missing?

Usually he could tell by just looking at the list, and checking it twice to make sure he hadn't overlooked.  His magic was usually on top of things.  This time...there was something wrong here.

He skipped through the names out loud..."Marge, Maria, Marianne...oh she is such a corker!  Maribelle, Marion, Martin, ...wait!"   That was it!  Where was Mary?  How had she been left off the list? 

"Well, I'll fix that, by Rudolph.  Mary should be on my naughty list.  She gets worse every year!  Ho Ho HO!!!!"
