Do you attend church for Christmas or Christmas eve?

We always attended midnight mass on Christmas Eve when the kids were home. Now it depends on where we are.

Rarely. We usually only get to have my daughter, her husband, and my son's kids with us on Christmas eve, and UU churches around here don't generally have Christmas day services.

Yes....I attend the "BEDSIDE ON YOUR KNEES" Church 24/7 but especially on holidays and CHRISTmas.

We do if it falls on a Sunday, otherwise we may go if there is a special Christmas program or something like that on the day.

Yes I go to church on Christmas eve, I go to church every Sunday,and whenever there's a special service like at Easter time there's the community Good Friday service where most of the churches decide on one church to host the service and each church's pastors take a turn doing some part of the service,it's pretty much the same for the Community Thanksgiving service just a different church and a different order of who does what and different sermon.

I love Midnight Mass. When our daughter was young, we always went to the afternoon Children's Mass. There was always a nativity play and a children's choir.

I haven't been to church since I moved here. I used to help teach Sunday School to little ones (5-6 yr olds) But haven't gone since moving to NY.

We have a meeting for worship (Quaker) on Christmas eve. These are a great chance to get together with extended "family" before the smaller gatherings with relatives.

This is the reason for the season. And, if not a formal house of worship--we can always remember "Where two or more are gathered in His name..." and remember the reason for the season and "Gather" (pun intended) in His name. Thanks for asking.

I am a very conservative Christian and sad to say no. I've never been to Church on Christmas or Christmas Eve. We have christmas and spend time with family and resume Church on Sunday.

If we go we like to attend the Christmas Eve candlelight service. I don't go often anymore though. Like many I'm not an avid "church" fan and prefer laid back styles of our local church's Saturday night service/coffee club style.

Up until a few years ago we always took the kids to Christmas Eve service. We haven't the last few years since the kids don't live at home anymore. We play it by ear a little more. We used to go to church then drive around and look at Christmas lights and then come home and open one present before bed. The kids got to open a present their grandparents sent to them.

Happy New Year- in our little village the church has a program on Christmas Eve- mostly kids say little poems. Aferward presents are handed out- the community brings their presents to hand out at the church. 11 PM young people usually go carolling but I don't know if they did it this year- was asleep early because I am getting old. Christmas Day the church holds a community feast. We went to that this year, most times we would cook a big dinner at our home for both our families but we did church dinner this year and helped cooked some for that. If Christmas Eve or Christmas Day is on a Sunday the church usually moves one of the events around and has a Sunday Service.
