Media Bytes Week 5

In my meanderings here on gather, I have discovered marvels, mischief, miracles and media masterpieces of one sort or another. So in the spirit of community I decided to share with you some of the media bytes I've found among the pages here on gather.  

This past week was pretty interesting here in the Midwest. First we had ice, then sleet, and then snow and then a couple of days later, the cycle was repeated all over again! Even though it really was pretty, it was slicker than slick, so I spent a lot of this past week inside checking out the latest and greatest on gather and compiling this list for you all. It really is hard just settling on three in each section each week, but I think you'll agree that this week's list is pretty darn interesting!

Have fun wandering the pathways of gather and don't worry if you get lost along the way...sometimes getting lost is the best way to find the best stuff! So welcome to my media world...I hope you find something here that makes you stop and smile, life is too darn short folks, to be frowning! ENJOY! :-D

There's A Hippo In Our House by Robert B. Man oh man, did I like this article! Of course those who know me, know I have a soft spot for hippos anyway. My friend Robert really out did himself with this one.... poetry, images and some cool facts too. Check it out!

lori ponders...."we knew you'd nevah amount to anything" edition by lori cee (enuff of the "im leaving gather" drama! just RIP IT OFF like a band aid!)  is one of those articles that EVERYONE has an opinion on. I know I did. But Lori, I have one question. How do you sign checks? Your moniker is pretty darn long...I had to get an extension on this article to get it all in! Geez already!       Psst Lori...check the links at the end of the article! ;-)

On "Jealousy", and What Do YOU Think? by  LadyNalita OprahObamaNewtonSubaheim-Wurbizer A. is a interesting post by another one of those people with long monikers....(good grief folks, how do you expect anyone to send holiday cards if they can't get your name on the envelope?) Seriously though folks, weigh in with your opinion here too...the comments here are as interesting as the post! I promise!

This Image by elizabeth e. is a gorgeous one! Boy, I'd love to have this in MY house this holiday season! Elizabeth is one talented lady to have something this neat! See if you don't agree that she did a great job here!

And don't miss this Image by Jean, ego dico cum mortuus populus, F. She was an adorable child and this image reminds me so much of the movie "Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus"....too cute for words. Check it out and tell me what you think!

This Image by Christina F.  is one of those that makes you go "Ahhh....how cute!" I loved it, and I think you will too! Check out Christina's little buddies! They are really cuties! :-D

Ok, this isn't technically a video, but Search Inside.....mp3 by Todd L is really fantastic!  Todd you are one talented man and I'm really impressed with this post! But I'm still waiting for my autographed CD...are you sure you sent it to the right address? ;-)

Buckethead at the beach by Kathy and her Buckethead H. is a laugh out loud video! This kid is the most adorable little guy I've seen in a long time! LOL check him out and see if you don't agree that he looks JUST like Grandpa..... LOL

OK, OK...some of you like to harrass me about my affection for Donny O, but before you start in today, Check out Donny Osmond Birmingham oct 2007 by kim simcock. There is nothing "sweet and innocent" about this number! Way to go Donny....ENCORE! :-D
